Really enjoyed Koji and Coal. From the second we walked in, the place looked clean, authentic, and really well done. Everything we had was super fresh and had its own unique taste, from the appetizers all the way through dessert. The chef came out, explained everything, and answered any questions we had. Our waitress was also great and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Really good experience from start to finish.

Short version-go immediately, you won’t be disappointed. Grand opening this Thursday and Sunday. Longer- sauces are great, food is outstanding, went for the soft opening shared 3 appetizers and had 3 separate meals and delicious dessert. Staff, waiters and chef were super friendly and now I’m in a food coma. Seriously go, I’m considering coming back for the grand opening.

Just finished eating here with my husband and we can’t stop talking about how good our dinner just was. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food you get. The waitress was telling us how many of the dishes are slow cooked over the span of a day or more and their flavors reflect that. We had chicken and vegetable dumplings, tempura short rib appetizer, fried rice, general tso chicken, and the banana muffin for dessert. They offered a free donut and which was also amazing. The chef truly has a talent and was super kind, friendly, and created such a warm and welcoming environment. The service from the waitress, food runner and host were also superb. Can’t say enough good things about them, Hashem bless them 🙏🏻
